For lunch, you can enjoy reasonably priced sushi and seafood menus, as well as tempura, kushikatsu, zaru udon, zaru soba and other sets.If you add 200 yen, you can change the red soup stock to noodles!The teppanyaki bowl (680 yen) was red, and it was a heavy type with a grated egg on top.

Delicious sushi, friendly staff and great atmosphere. I highly suggest sitting at the bar for a unique experience of seeing the chefs making your sushi! You might want to make a reservation as this place seems very popular with the locals.

Very nice sushi and excellent price.I totally recommend the scallops, Tuna, Tuna belly and Salmon.

Very good place to get sushi at a good price. Looks like an authentic Japanese sushi bar. I was here for dinner around 7pm and it was pack. They do let people smoke inside so beware of that. This place also accepts all major credit cards so hold on to your Yen for those whose are tourist visiting.

Best value (quality/price) sushi I've ever had, and I usually eat sushi 4-5 times/week and have been to hundreds of places in Japan. You usually need to double the price of this place to get the same quality. Only complaint is that there's often a 1hr wait if you show up between 6 and 8pm.

Reasonable good sushi.

The menu is different at lunch and dinner. We went for lunch and the combo menu was excellent and at good price. We had to wait a bit because it was full of local people, which is always a good sign! The atmosphere is great and you will be greeted in the way they do in local sushi restaurants, which is nice to experience!

Nice place had english menu. Add pic of enlish menu. Food was good. I really liked the sushi. Beer ok 2 out of 5 it was a logger. They couldn't sell me blowfish. Price was good for the amount that I got

This place fills up FAST! Understandably, considering the well priced, good quality sushi. They serve much more and provide a hospitable and cosy place for lunch and dinner.

Because I ran to visit the AEON of the Western Academy, I was too late to eat, so I accidentally found this one, and I was surprised! I still remember it till now!Compared with another house full of foreign guests (especially Europeans), this one is almost all Japanese guests, which gives me the feeling of picking up treasures. Because it ’s been a long time, I just remember to order tuna sushi. Set menu and Wagyu sushi, another forgot which set. Super push tuna sushi! The entrance is instant, and the price is more than the relatives who eat in Taiwan! You can really eat here when you have time in Kyoto.

5 stars for the quality/price ratio. Not the best sushi in the world, but certainly better than most places and incredibly reasonably priced. A bit hard to find, but they do have an English menu when you get there! I wish they would've given us tea, like they did the other customers, but we only got water. Others walked in and just got it without asking. Need to brush up on my Japanese!

The vendors tried their best to accommodate non-Japanese speakers. Food was fresh and tasty. Totally enjoyable.

Visiting Kyoto? This is the sushi place you go to. Has a very large selection of absolutely delicious sushi and not crazy expensive. Decent drink selection too. Can be slightly tricky to find but it's well worth it!

A sushi bar where many locals from the neighbourhood convene. English menu available.Large fresh slices of fish, shellfish, or pickled vegetables on just the right amount of rice are served at the perfect temperature. I recommend trying the different seared tuna belly varieties on your first visit; they vary by fattiness and are true indulgences. But you really cannot go wrong here with any choice you make! It's all very delicious.Word of caution for those sensitive to smoke: smoking is permitted inside.

Really great restaurant! Had a great time. There is an english menu but it doesn't include everything (e.g. sashimi menu). Be sure to have your translation app ready to enquire about the special dishes of the day!

Excellent sushi at a great price! Try one of their special sushi, yellowtail with yuzu, it's delicious! Expect to wait up to an hour. They have an English menu.
